Incantations for the Compiled Self

In reading Wendy Chun's piece, On "Sourcery," or Code as Fetish I couldn't help but think about it in step with Kate Crawford and Trevor Paglen's latest collaboration, Imagenet Roulette.  The project is meant as a provocation, using a neural net trained on the "Person" categories within the ImageNet dataset.
