(meta)data + surveillance + extraction

I've been exploring Josh Begley's work lately, and I can't help but finding connections to the themes discussed in class and the elements of his work. The (commercial) surveillance-data he uses shifts our perspective in the fields of vision we are trained to see. By asking questions to his sources' big data metadata, he's able to reconfigure the selections into critical narratives and storytelling. Rather than spoiling his amazing work, I'll just share it. Hope you all enjoy as well!
